  Due Description
Assignment 1 Feb. 9, 5:45 pm Your group is to prepare a white paper expressing your opinion of the discussion in Chapter 2 of the audio text. This chapter introduces the concepts of blogging and podcasting. You may focus on either concept. Your white paper is to define your position regarding the topic, then to support your position using support points from the discussion or your external research about the topic. I have no specific expectations of content, unless you completely miss the topic element introduced in the panel discussion. I have no expectation of paper length. You will have information to transmit. Your paper should be as long or short as to cover your position effectively. Your team will then prepare audio visual support for a short presentation to the class defining and supporting your position. You will not do a presentation, you will merely show the audio visuals you created.
Assignment 2 Feb. 16. 5:45 pm Your group is to prepare a 15-minute audio blog (podcast) for placement on the Web. The topics to include in the audio blog are flexible. The target is the students at UTPA. The goal is to create content that markets UTPA to prospective and current students. We will record two on Thursday and two on Tuesday Feb. 21.
